Secure reservations and minimize no-show is a capital concern for the hotelier, that is why receiving deposits before the arrival of a traveler is a very common transaction when registering a Booking. And also, it is equally common to receive inflows of money during the guest’s stay for various reasons (such as payments for services or restaurant notes for example).
These constants transaction’s lags can be difficult to manage and be extremely sensitive for your business finances. That’s why in Clerk we’ve done an update to canalize and organize all those deposits and payments.
We have put at your disposal a payment’s tab in each of your guest’s booking to register incoming payments. You just have to enter an identifier (coupon or ticket number), a description and the amount received.
You will see that the payment is registered in the summary and automatically integrated in the ready to print ballot. Amounts will be substracted from the total and detailed for a clear lecture for you and your guest.
